Hey there!

I am Elaine, a second-year graduate student at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying Computer Science. My research interests are in computer system, security, and networking. These topics keep fascinating me like no other subject does. Plus, people in system research area keep inspiring me with their unique personality. Prior to coming to Illinois, I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from NYU Shanghai.

I was born and raised in China. Growing up in Anqing, I enjoyed the simpleness of that small town for 15 years. I then moved to Hefei and attended Hefei No.1 High School. My experiences there made me realize how big the world is. And for the past 4 years in college, I've had the luck to live in 3 amazing cities: Shanghai, New York, and London. It's been a fun ride.

I am by no means smart, and life is thus hard. But I do try best to embrace my life.
I love biking, hiking, swimming, and coding.
I strive to keep, and have hereunto had the honor of, learning with the best.
